The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon is the largest sport event in Hong Kong. Since 2016, the race has been recognized as a Gold Label Road Race by World Athletics and has also been awarded the "M" Mark status from the Major Sports Events Committee under the Sports Commission. This year, the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Expo will continue to be held at Kai Tal Arena. Moreover, for 10-15 year olds a 2km "Youth Run" will be start and finish at the Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground the day before the race. On race day, as in previous years, the Half marathon and Marathon will start at the at Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, while the 10km race will continue to start on the Island Eastern Corridor. And all runners will finish at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.
