Breaking will make its debut at the Olympics next year. Breakers from around the world have been working hard to showcase their skills in Olympic Qualification Ranking competitions. Among them, only 32 athletes (16 men and 16 women) are able to compete in the first breaking competition event at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

DanceSport Association of Hong Kong, China has got sanction from the World DanceSport Federation for hosting the finale of Breaking for Gold Olympic Qualification Ranking competition - “WDSF Breaking For Gold World Series - Hong Kong 2023” on 15-16 December at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai. About 200 B-boys and B-girls from 50 countries/regions are expected to engage in intense battles to compete for valuable Olympic points.
