Since its first appearance at the Sydney Olympic Games 2000, the triathlon has become one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. The World Cup Triathlon Hong Kong event will showcase the Sprint distance, including a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride, and a 5-kilometer run. The Hong Kong World Cup not only provides an opportunity for professional athletes to compete for the Paris Olympic Games 2024 and world ranking points but also enhances Hong Kong's status as a regional and international host city for sporting events.
