BACKGROUND

Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2025 features the exciting 'on-court' return of four-time Grand Slam champion, former world No.1 and Hong Kong fan favourite Naomi Osaka, alongside Chinese tennis pioneer and Asia's first female Grand Slam singles champion Li Na, who will again serve as Tournament Director, promising to ignite and excite both local and regional tennis fans.

The event boasts a stellar player lineup. Alongside Naomi Osaka, the tournament has also announced the participation of three additional world-class players: Australian No.1 Daria Kasatkina, 2024 Prudential Hong Kong Tennis 125 champion Ajla Tomljanović, and Filipino rising star Alexandra Eala.

The event runs from 25 October to 2 November. Qualifying rounds are open to the public for free on 25 and 26 October. The main draw's opening day on October 27 will feature the traditional 'People's Monday', which will also be open to the public for free. The Tournament Village is open to the public completely free of charge throughout the event.
