The Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open is the final stop of the WTA regular season and part of the China Tennis Season. The tournament has been named WTA 250 Tournament of the Year on three occasions, in 2018, 2024 and 2025.

Next Gen superstar Diana Shnaider and Filipino trailblazer and fan favourite Alexandra Eala will be joined by China's top player Wang Xinyu, and former world number two Paula Badosa, in a 32-player singles draw competing for a total prize purse of more than USD280,000.
