BACKGROUND

Organised by World Snooker Tour and F-Sports Promotions Limited and supported by the Billiard Sports Council of Hong Kong China Limited, the "World Grand Prix 2026" will be held in Hong Kong for the second occasion, taking place from 3 to 8 February, 2026 at Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park. The world's top 32 snooker players will all be competing for the championship and world rankings.

The World Grand Prix has been held in the UK since 2015 until march this year, when the competition was relocated to Hong Kong. As one of the premier events on the World Snooker Tour, it features the top 32 players ranked for the season, making it one of the pinnacle events in professional snooker. The total prize money is £700,000, with the winner's prize set at £180,000.
