Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HK Section) Half Marathon 2023
Mr. Chan Kwok Ki, Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (first row, fifth left), officiated the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HK Section) Half Marathon 2023 with Asian Athletics Association and representatives from organizer and sponsors.
Following the sound of air horn, the runners in the challenge group set off immediately to compete for the championship.
Geoffrey Toroitich Kipchumba from Kenya won the Men's Half Marathon Champion in a time of 1 hour 1 minutes 38 seconds.
Sarah Chelangat from Uganda won the Women's Half Marathon Champion in a time of 1 hour 8 minutes 04 seconds.
Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HK Section) Half Marathon 2023 also held the first "East Asia Half Marathon Championship" at the same race. The Women's Champion of the East Asia Half Marathon Championship was won by Xu Shuang Shuang of China in 1 hour 13 minutes and 13 seconds.
Bank of China (Hong Kong) Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HK Section) Half Marathon 2023 also held the first "East Asia Half Marathon Championship" at the same race. The Men's Champion of the East Asia Half Marathon Championship was won by Xie Dong Sheng of China in 1 hour 07 minutes and 40 seconds.
