"Hong Kong Cricket Sixes" (the Sixes) is a marquee event on the global sporting calendar, offering one of world cricket's most thrilling weekends in Asia's dynamic "World City".

Officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council and unique to Hong Kong, this annual event of elite cricket was first played in 1992 and has grown into the only cricket event in the world to feature multiple international teams playing over a single weekend. 

The original short version of the game, the Sixes delivers two days of non-stop, pulsating action and excitement from cricket's biggest teams at the Kowloon Cricket Club.

Virtually every superstar in modern cricket history including Steve Waugh, Sachin Tendulkar, Adam Gilchrist, Brian Lara, Shane Warne, Andrew Flintoff and Sanath Jayasuriya has graced the event. The Sixes also features an All Stars team made up of the biggest names in world cricket in addition to the teams from the best cricket nations in the world.

The Sixes 2008 was broadcast live on TV to 80 million households worldwide including full and live coverage across the Indian sub continent, Australia, South Africa, North America and many other territories, plus live with bilingual commentary in Hong Kong.

Sixes Cricket week is crammed with activities and functions including the hot ticket Sixes Welcome Reception, the Sixes Post Event Player Party, plus fund raising lunches, junior coaching clinics and masterclasses.
